Here I’m going to explain three ways that can help you to make suggestions in English:

1- Should: 

Should is an auxiliary verb .  We can use should  to give advice or make recommendations.

 

 Structure of should

Subject + should + main Verb

Please note that should has only one form which is should and the main verb is usually the base form.

We can make a suggestion question by the help of our word should as the following:

What should we do tonight?

What + should + subject + main verb

2- Why don’t or Why doesn’t

This is one of the mostly used suggestion forms .

Why don’t you call your friend?

Why doesn’t she go to the hospital?

 Why + don’t/doesn’t+ subject + main verb

 3- Let’s

The third famous way when it concerns about making suggestions.

Let’s = Let us

When you are in a situation like your friend is so bored, you can say the following for instance:

Let’s go out for dinner.

Let’s + main verb
